What is the Crochet Retreat:

Lead by two incredible teachers, Lynda Tomkins and Emily Littlefair, you will be guided through multiple unique projects. In addition to learning new techniques, you will also have fun with a range of activities, games and chatty group dinners! An all inclusive event, the NSW Crochet Retreat has no hidden fees or extra costs.

Note:  This retreat is designed for those who can already crochet and is not a learn to crochet event.

What is included: 

Full Weekend Retreat Package – 2 day event package includes:

• 1 night accommodation (Saturday)
• Two course group dinner – Saturday Evening
• Continental Breakfast – Saturday Morning
• Catered morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea for 2 days
• Patterns and all material for three projects
• Two days of crochet including all activities and advice from our expert teachers
• Opportunities to mingle, meet new people and widen your crochet community
• Two experienced workshop leaders to guide you through the projects
• Multiple small Workshop sessions with a focus on the various techniques required for the projects
• Saturday evening dinner—two course meal

Day Pass Package –  Single day event package includes:

• Catered morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea
• Patterns and materials for three projects
• Two days of crochet including a day of activities and advice from our expert teachers
• Two experienced workshop leaders to guide you through the projects
• Small Workshop sessions with a focus on the various techniques required for the projects

Extra nights can be added either side of the weekend – Single $150 per night, Share $90 per night.  Please note this in the comments when booking.

What we are making:

1.  Floral Dreams Mug Cozy – Learn floral embellishment techniques

2.  Succulent Coasters – Protect your furniture with these coasters. When not in use, these costers transform into a decorative crochet garden.

3.  Corner to corner table mat – Learn the C2C technique incorporating a pattern and then put your imagination to the test on how to use this versitle piece – will you make a washcloth, pillow case, table mat or something else entirely?

These projects have been kept small to allow you to finish them and learn technqiues during the weekend. The pattern and yarn for all three projects is included in your fee.

Additional Information: 

This event will be capped at 50 attendees.

Deposits: All deposits are non-refundable*. Any cancellations between 1 January and 28 February will forfeit an additional $100. Cancellations between 1 March and 30 April will forfeit an additional $180. Day visitors forfeit $150. Any cancellaitons after 30 April will forfeit all amounts paid.

Payment schedules:  The balance will be invoiced as follows:

30% November 2024
40% February 2025
Balance April 2025

*This event needs a minimum of 25 to book for it to proceed.  If this minimum number is not achieved the event will be cancelled by Crochet Australia and any money paid will be refunded.
