Highlights of the 2020 Crochet Retreat

Last weekend we had the 2020 Sunshine Coast Crochet Retreat – a little more intimate that previous years due to the uncertainty around border openings, but a wonderful weekend none-the-less.

30 ladies (plus a couple of husbands) made their way to the Sunshine Coast SurfAir at Marcoola for 2 days full of crochet and learning new techniques.  There was a choice of two projects….

The spica bag by Natalia Kononova or the Fortitude Shawl by Emily Littlefair

Plus a few other fun activities:

Emily and I were kept on our feet as everyone learnt new stitches and techniques – and of course there was lots of laughter and helping each other.  Here’s a short video on what the attendees had to say.
