Crochet a Christmas Gnome Class

Description

Create you very own Christmas Gnome to decorate your table, mantle place or window sill at our December crochet classes.

The ‘Get to Gnome Me’ has been designed by Live Love Crochet Shaz to bring a Christmas cheer into your day.  Or  you can make him in non-Christmas colours for some cheer throughout the year!

Material

Any yarn can be used to make this gnome, but I recommend cotton.  The sample is made using 10ply cotton and a 4mm hook, and it can be made smaller using 8 ply cotton and a 3mm hook.

Body – approx 100m
Hat, Boots, hands and candy can – approx 100m
Trims and twirls – approx 50m
35cm of florist wire or pipe cleaner
Wadding
2 small organza bags approx 8cm x 10cm
1 medium organza bag approx 12.5cm x 20.5cm
Rice to fill boots and body

Suggested yarn:

10 ply – Finch

8 ply – catona or wren or marble (cotton/acrylic)
